Cabaza La Vaca

There is nothing more enticing than the fresh smell of dew in the air as you walk towards a group of pigs in a farmyard. Mainly because you are probably wondering why the place does not smell like the cr*p of a pig.

Then you get offered cheese made by the hands of the kind farmer Pepe who has kindly become your host for the day. Bear in mind that this man is not a tourist attraction, actually the old friend (adopted Grandfather) of the children you have had in your care. Throughout all the Spanish mutterings, and stumbling around of Spanish words, you still are unable to understand the kind of cheese that he made. Therefore, as you do not hold a 'certificate of cheese artistry', you just have to decide the taste for yourself. It felt like Goats cheese in my mouth with a slight scent of French Brie, and I can not think of any other words to describe just how good it was.

Here are some photographs of the farm that I fell so deeply in love with.
